ELSA
English Language Services for Adults
ELSA offers full-time and part-time classes for permanent residents who are not yet Canadian citizens at Levels 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5. These classes are government-sponsored; students must first apply at Western ESL Services and then get a referral to Vancouver Community College or another ELSA school.

ESL AT VCC
Literacy, Beginners, Intermediate, and Advanced
VCC offers ESL classes (Literacy, Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced levels) at the three VCC campuses: Broadway and Downtown. Classes are in the mornings, afternoons, evenings, on Fridays, and Saturdays, 4 days, 2 days, or one day a week. Classes focus on the four skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing. Special skill classes focus on just one or two of those skills, or on pronunciation.
